Audrey had woken up before Chris. The guilt was starting to get to her now, she couldn’t keep this secret away from him anymore. She went into the kitchen and started cooking breakfast, it was what she did when she was really stressed. Half an hour later Audrey had made bacon, eggs, toast, waffles and pancakes. She heard Chris walk into the kitchen. 

“I made breakfast, but Chris there’s something I have to tell you if you want us to continue with what we’re doing and you might hate me forever if you decide not to forgive me.”

He ran his hand through his hair, frustrated. “Audrey, I just need some time to think okay? I’ll call you latter. Maybe.”

He pulled out his cell phone to call a cab and started out the door.

He hated leaving her like this, but he needed to clear his head.

As soon as Audrey got out of the hospital, she knew she had to go see Chris straight away. She didn’t want him to think that she never changed and that she would do something that stupid. She went over to his house and made the maid let her in. She walked up to his bedroom and knocked on the door.

“Chris, I need to speak to you.” She said loudly.
